We set off for Bologna that morning, the city sounds like bolognese spaghetti haha!The University of Bologna, Europe's oldest university founded in 1088, we had a tour around the university too!Toured around the nearby markets, it's so cool! The market is like the higher class version of Singapore's wet markets, plus it's cold there! You won't feel sticky and sweaty after marketing.The Two Towers, however one of them is under maintenance.The Christmas Market in Bologna! Singapore should have Christmas Markets too, hmm..Europe is filled with pigeons everywhere!
Anyway, we were actually supposed to visit Cinque Terre on that day. But it was still flooding so the tour guide replaced it with Bologna instead, ahhh damn sad :-( I mean like Cinque Terre is so beautiful! I was actually looking forward to the pretty colourful houses! What a waste..(pictures from google)Look at those pretty houses above!!! ^
This is just great, I hope I'll be able to visit there in the future *crosses fingers*

This day was an interesting one. Visited the Square of Miracles where the Leaning Tower of Pisa was located. We climbed up this entire 8-storeys tower, it doesn't look that high up. But when you're climbing it, it's super tiring and I almost died. I was literally trembling up there, because looking down from the top seriously freaked me out.The view up there was simply amazing, you can actually see the entire town! The wind was way crazy at that time, my hair keeps flying all over the place and it's super cold!My borther has a girl face.... Look at it.This was the stairway in the tower, it's a spiral staircase up. Plus since the tower is leaning to one side, when you're climbing up you can actually feel yourself leaning to the side at some parts. The steps were also pretty slippery since it's made out of marble, there wasn't really much grip and I swear I almost fell a few times.Headed to THE MALL afterwards, it's a factory outlet, well all the branded stuffs are there. Lunch at the cafe, hot chocolate + croissant yum! I was practically eating almost everything I can during the trip, fattening much.Mum ended up getting herself a Prada bag. I swear I'll splurge on handbags/heels/clothes when I grow up, okay that sounds scary. Anyway, if you're wondering how I remember all these so clearly (since I usually have a really poor memory), I actually typed everything I did in Europe into my phone, like a diary haha.

Continuing from my previous post about the Europe trip. Breakfast in the morning and set off for a 3 hour long ride to Florence, with a few stop-overs at random marts.Grabbed a gelato cone yum! It was about 5 to 15 degrees that day, I love the weather there. So breezy and refreshing.

Finally reached Florence!Mum and granny!These stuffed toys are too cute, ahhhh.Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower, the cathedral is so pretty! Everytime I come across monuments like this, I can't help but think about how possible it is that people in the past are able to actually carve out the sculptures so detailedly, amazing.The public square, Palazzo della Signoria, where the sculpture of David lies. Getting to see all these statues, sculptures, buildings and monuments real life seem so surreal. It's like some fairytale fantasy.Dinner at this really vintage italian restaurant, the ambience was really nice. But the total cost for the meal was way too.... y'know.

Part of the city view, so pretty ain't it! Can someone teleport me back to Europe, life there is so much more relaxed compared to here.
School as usual today and I got caught for my skirt because it was too "short". Come on! It's not short at all please! Teachers made us unpicked our skirts, I swear I looked super retarded because there was this super obvious folded line on the skirt. Every week is packed with tests, this sucks!

Outfit for day 2 during Chinese New Year. I love how the sheer chiffon material flows with the wind, looking so fairy like. It was also the very first time I brought my Lita out, ever since I've received this xmas gift from Noah. Lovely shoes, hehe!

Anyway, so caught up with school for the past month. Time flies, we're already a week into February, how fast is that! I really want to do well for O's, but everytime I try to study. I would immediately redirect my attention to twitter or online shopping, so many distractions! Someone tell me why do we have to take O's!

This cutie was sick on the first day, poor thing.
Apparently, my younger cousins age 5 and 6 both have their individual iPhones, kids these days.. Plus the phone is like too big for their tiny hands?! Oh god.
I was super excited for CNY many weeks before, but when it arrived then, not a tinny winny bit. I was only looking forward to wearing my new clothes and shoes, collecting red packets, gambling, feasting on good food and goodies. Maybe as we grow older, the more boring it gets? I don't know. But it was sure boring compared to years ago when I was still a kid.
Spent day 1 visiting my granny's house like every other year, and that was it for the day. Oh, and I suck so bad at blackjack because I kept losing! So pissing y'know!

Took a picture with these crazy girls above yesterday. We had a CNY concert in school, and it's the most happening one out of my entire 4 years in this crappy shit school. The chinese singing competition really created a stir, everyone started cheering, shouting, screaming like mad. Some even took out calculators and math books to wave in the air when Mr Tay was singing on stage, haha! Oh and we caught "We Not Naughty" at vivo after the celebration, the movie is damn funny yet sad and touching at the same time, I cried y'know! Go watch it, you'll definitely not regret ☺

Currently blogging at my cousin's house now since I'm so free...... doing nothing. Just had reunion dinner with my maternal side and I love my granny's cooking, it's the best!!! Can't wait for chinese new year, the food, clothes, most importantly $$$$ hehe. Shall paint my nails tonight, toodles xx

These were taken 2 weeks back, on the second day of 2012 with Noah.

I'm so caught up with school and everything is all about studying, studying and more studying every single day! Oh god... A life of a no lifer. Anyway, the release of the O's results was on the 9th and apparently, my school did pretty good. Witnessed the seniors getting back their results. Some of them were really pleased with their results and started hopping around the hall with this huge smile across their face, but the others were y'know. I was wondering how my reaction would be like 1 year from now. I really really hope I'm one of those who are hopping around the hall too! Ahhhh, so hard. #stress

2. vatican city

I'll continue with my Europe trip post from the previous one, so here goes!
Arrived at Rome's airport, when I stepped out it was so cooling, unlike Singapore's weather so humid and hot! Toured the St. Peter's Basilica, it's the world's biggest church. The interior is pure beauty, ceiling filled with pretty paintings and gold.
Next, we visited the Colosseum. This old place took more than hundreds of years for the Romans to complete even the church mentioned above. Seriously, the Romans are incredible.
Finally, the Fountain of Trevi! It has been my dream to visit this place because the last time I watched the Lizzie McGuire movie, it was filmed at this fountain and I really wanted to visit it since then! And I finally did!! I was so damn excited back then hehehe. First and last time there, I guess.. But I tossed a coin in, so that I would be able to visit it again someday!
When we got back to the hotel, I immediately knocked out. Jet lag. (Anyway, I went with my mum, bro, little sis and granny on this trip. Dad wasn't free to go, boohoo.)
So yeah, that's basically about day 2. Keep reading this space for more updates on the Europe trip!

I was bored, so that explains the photo above hehe. I love the dreamcatcher on my school bag, it's so pretty!! We visited Singapore Poly's open house today, I can honestly say I don't know what I want to do in the future. No course interests me, I should probably get into a JC so I have more time to think. That's if I can even get into one.

Anyway, end of holidays, start of school. #sucksbigtime But... I'm sec 4 this year, which means, SENIOR YEAR!!!! I can strut down the hallway like a boss and diss any juniors, I'm just kidding haha! This year I just wanna complete the journey to O's, and of course have fun while I'm at it. Plus end the year off with a great night at prom! (f.y.i. I've always wanted prom so pretty please let there be prom)

I was really dreading for 2012, because this year's a very crucial year. Well there's the big O's to prepare for, and comes the stress/homework/endless revision/etc. I'm just not ready for it, oh well.. face it pearl!
New Year's resolutions? Do well for the O's, more hardworking, be a better person, live life with no regrets, happier, prettier, skinnier, more money to buy more clothes.

1. On Christmas, Alicia invited me to attend a service at her church. I have never felt so happy during Christmas before, really a great experience. I even had lunch with her cellgroup, a bunch of friendly and cheerful people. The rest of the day was celebrated at my house with the cousins, huge spread of food, and lots of fun!
2. Great catch up with my girls @ vivo. Fig's and Olive for lunch and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked movie there after. Honestly, the movie is damn boring! So don't watch it!
3. Another catch up with my primary school friends. Sakae Sushi @ Bugis Junction for dinner. Worst part was, we entered the arcade, the place which I hate the most. Have no idea what was wrong with me because I agreed to play a round of mario kart with them. Oh my goodness, can you believe it? Oh well, relieving primary school times I guess haha.

Anyway, I just got back home from Marina! Caught the fireworks like every other year, it's so pretty! I love fireworks!!! Spent the last few minutes of 2011 with my family, well.. because I'm a girl and my parents don't allow me to be out after midnight, which explains why my brother gets to celebrate the new year with his friends instead of me!
So... I wish all of you a happy new year, may 2012 be a great year ahead filled with love, happiness, fun and live life with no regrets. Cheers!

1. flight to rome

It's been almost a month since I came back from Europe, and I'm super lazy to blog about it. But I shall start off with day 1 first, and i'll see how it goes haha.
Okay so..... I went for a 15 day tour to Europe, and the 15 days includes the flight to and fro, which is technically only 13 days. How short is that! But nevertheless, it's been a great time since that's going to be my first and last time there I guess. Caught the 2am flight to Dubai and I didn't sleep throughout the whole flight, I was like a walking zombie. Look at the photos above, I could hardly open my eyes! Transferred over to another plane to reach Rome. That's basically day 1!
It's Christmas's Eve, so I'm going to wish you guys a Merry Christmas in advance! Hope you guys would receive lots of presents (I know I won't), 2011 is ending so cherish it! Happy holidays xx

The other day when I had a study date with Wei at Starbucks, we decided to pop by A&F for awhile. Since we heard that they were giving out free polaroid films when you take a picture with the models! But I'm not some desperate freak who keeps on going there just to have another picture again and again okay! It's just that... you don't always spot an extremely hot guy around anywhere right?

As usual, I started spazzing again hahaha! This local model is so cute!!! But apparently, I look super ugly in the polaroid, oh god....

Had a pretty good lunch at Kenny Rogers yesterday before Alicia left for Shanghai. The portion there was huge! Totally underestimated my tummy (even though I was super hungry), I could hardly finish it.

The A&F male models have been in Singapore for almost a week or so? I've been dying to take a picture with them, which I did! Oh my goodness, they are so........ HOT!!!! I was blushing the entire time there, cause I hesitated to go up front but I wanted to take a picture so badly. I swear my heart was thumping super fast when I was standing next to them, couldn't keep myself calm. Plus, I started spazzing at home looking at the photos hehe. Ahhhhhhhh!

Anyway half of December is already gone, and I haven't even touch on any of my homework. This is bad, very bad..
